Okay the last few weeks at school have been really boring...outside for lunch we have been...well bored...so anyway during lunch we've started calling our parents with a classice new prank... Hi, This is cook-e-tastee...okay yeah lame right? wrong!hilarious... we went as far as to get my friend Roisin's mom to actually get out her year book to see if there was anyone by that name before she explained to her that it was her...hehe. Sorry I haven't written for a while...happy valentines day to all and well... if I missed another holiday... Auntie Rita good luck at the boston marathon..you'll do awesome!!!!!!!

Global Warming?

Okay this has been a really dry winter here...no snow, well unless you count the two dandruff like dustings of powder that surrounded the bottoms of trees. Okay so I need someone or something to blame so I guess I'll blame global warming (I was going to blame presidents Bush but I blamed him for the algebra test I failed...) Anyway so yeah global warming has struck New Mexico...along with the flu...everyone around me has been sneezing and coughing till there brains seep slowly out of their nasal passages...or not...but they have been coughing alot and sneezing....and well other things with their bodies I don't want to explain... I haven't got sick yet! Thank somebody I don't care who. I mean my nose has been running but nothing drastic. I just hope I don't get sick...

Today I had to clean the chicken house... Okay so most people think that chickens sit in their little nests and lay eggs day in and day out...wrong. Chickens are some of the most disgusting birds on the planet. I found out after inhaling five tedius moments of chicken poop dust that it can't be good for the lungs and eventually realized that my dream of someday making a "chicken coop'' incense was anything but worthy. Contintually I shoveled poop into a wheel barrel and pondered upon how chickens, who eat grain grass, digested grass, etc. can produce so much waste... I mean litteraly chicken house cleaning should be an olymic sport... Oh well I got a break tommorrow I'm going skiing with some friends at Sipapu...Thankfully the closest I'll be to a chicken there is in a salad. I can't wait to ski...I haven't been skiing all year because well there wasn't any snow... still no snow here though... Hope all is well with everyone and may the force be with you...PS (honestly I don't know why I wrote that)

Martin Luther King Jr. was one of the best know african american rights activists. He was born in 1929 and died in 1968. During his life he fought against the harsh mistreatment and racism of African American's. Before his death he wrote the famous "I had a dream". This speech was heart felt strong willed account of how he hoped and prayed life would be some day between blacks and whites, equal. So being that tommorrow is the 38 Martin Luther King jr. day it would all be right if we payed our respect and honored Martin Luther King.

Going back to school after a two week holiday isn't easy but it was ok. Well I finally decided that I thought it was time that I used my blog...(you cant' leave a good one to collect dust)... so well alot has happened scince the last time that I wrote. I went to district band on barritone, I've done the people's faire and sold alot of my bead work and three of five paintings, I've talked to all of my family on the phone... all of their birthdays have pretty much passed. Well life has been good. Auntie julie came down, uncle rudy let me use a new barritone, my friends and I made awesome costumes, the phantom of the opera... I was the phantom. You know i really thought I would have more to say but I don't. I guess I just quickly summarized it. Hello everyone.

For the first time in ages....

It seems like it's been forever sense I wrote... ok it's been awhile get off me (kidding, but it has been a long time) Alot had happened since I wrote last. For instance I've startedc the eight grade, have mostly awesome teacher's, exept for my band instructor... ewwww!! Everythings been fine. Two weeks ago my great aunt tille past away. I'll remeber everytime she came she brought me a dollar... we'll remember her. That's her up there.

My summer was good...my labor day was good, adn the week that followed has been good excluding a pile of algebra homework I had to bring home.

The smell of chile is everwhere and I'm thinking.... allergies. Yes I know I live in New Mexico and I'm allergic to chile. I also don't like it... okay slap me know. Oh lastly I'd like to give my condolances to the Jones' for the loss of Cookie... I only met her once but she was an awesome lady. I'm sorry guys.

WARNING: Wait 2-3 hours after you have eaten to read this.
Just yesterday I was forced to dissect a worm (not really forced but it adds to the mood of the story) I thought "Oh no big deal" Being that I had dissected a starfish, a frog, and other, larger animals. But this one takes the cake. We made our first cut and the odor from the worm smelled like urine (old urine if you want to get into detail) It was at that time that I realized I had just eaten. Lunch wasn't the best but thinking of it coming back up was worse. I held it down and forced the gag reflex back down. By the time we had cut to the Clittelum(the large round part toward the mouth) Our noses had inhaled the worst smell known to man. I mean don't try and imagine it if you want to sleep tonight. Yuck!!!!!!!!! The worm had officially out done its self. It is my vow never to cut open another worm again.

Today we were in our third period when our literature teacher asked us if we wanted a cumqaut (an orange like fruit that it a quarter of an oranges size) I had tried them before and didn't like them so I tried them again but of course curiosity is the downfall man. The definition to the small but quite tast fruit is as follows:
Any of several trees or shrubs of the genus
Fortunella, having small, edible, orangelike fruit.
The fruit of these plants, having an acid pulp and
a thin, edible rind. It is the smallest of the citrus fruits.
I tried the fruit not knowing that you were supposed to suck the sour nectar out of the pulp first. The taste at first proved to be ''alright'' so to speak, but the intensly tart taste soon came over my taste buds and contorted my face into a mask of pure disgust, so I got another one and found that the taste is quite delightful when the nectar has been removed and then bitten into.

My title sounds like i'm describing a homeless person but I'm not. It's our ranch. It rained and hailed like crazy yesterday. The river has even gone up.
There was so much hail that the highway department had to sweep it off the road. It's supposed to do the same today and from the looks of it outside it's going to.

Well this weekend my Grandpa got a dog and named him Jake. He's a cute dog. He's mostly black with a boxer terrier face(he's got the white mark down his nostril) Did you know that the average mushroom grows about .5 cm per day. Just something to boggle your mind. Here's another interesting fact to this day they(the scheming government people who covered up Roswell) have not invented a band-aid that does not leave behind a residue. I mean it's so simple but I hate having to scrub off the light pink glue-like substance left behind on your arm after you remove a band aid. Last but not least in order for a Starfish to consume food it must regurgitate it's stomach through it's mouth. Once the stomach it removed it ingests food and "swallows'' it's stomach. Thus it recieves the nutrients needed to survive.

Hello Readers! It’s Easter and like any other holiday it means company. Yup, all of the family is here except my father’s sisters (happy Easter auntie Julie and Nina) Well it’s the one time in the year when rabbit shaped chocolates aren’t considered alien beings and eggs that are colored aren’t investigated by ‘’Government’’ officials. MY week has been filled with state mandated testing that was so desolate and uneventful (and I am not being sarcastic when I say I would rather leap off of a large waterfall and try to survive the raging waters then undergo the repetitiveness of this test) I guess it’s to be expected as I missed the last two week of school. Sadly my grandfather died last week, though it makes me feel uneasy to post it on the Internet. Well hope all you readers have a happy holiday.

Well it's almost 2005 and I'd juts ie to say that I've had a really good year!! Yeah that's boring right, right? Well since it's almost the New Year it time for me to type out this New Years News Letter. We let's see I am now a completely paralyzed person who is on the way to using my redeemable coupon to the State Mental Institution. Uhmm yeah but I don't see any reason for anyone to worry. My mother broke her leg, my father drank so much he went blind and my brother is so kind he reminds me of Osama Bin Laden. Ok now that you've read that re read it and make everything the exact opposite, now you have my year 2004 in general. I like doing comparisons to see for myself how lucky I really am. Have a Happy New Year fellow Bloggers, and make a New Years resolution with me, recall the president!! Oh man if wishes came true.

Christmas and the break

Hello fellow bloggers and readers. I'd just like to say that my christmas break has been going by way to fast! I had a great x-mas though. Uhmm... I got a lot of really cool stuff and the Fife's came down from California. We've been skiing once and I think that we'll be going again tommorow but I'm not certain. I got tons of CD's, Ski Gear, a portable DvD player and loads of other stuff. We had one of the best christmas dinners ever! Mom made this ham that was so big were still eating off of it today!!! Lets see... oh yes uhmm it was also the first time a cross country skied it was awsome. I really enjoyed it and we got a days free skiing because the lady who sold us our lift ticket sold it to us after one thirty and their not supposed to, so when they kicked us off the lift we got our money back and a free days worth of skiing. I hope everyones christmas was as good as mine. Leave me comments and have a great New Year.

Hello, I'm just here on my computer listening for the sound of snow flakes out side. We have a high chance of snow tonight which is all at the wrong time because tommorow Grandma has to go to Abq. to got pick up Max and Rosario and to go to Dona Marta's funeral. It's very cold here know in "noman's" land or as i refer to it when people ask me where I live "way out in the sticks" Hey Auntie Julie I'm not sure which magazine it's gonna be yet but when I find out for sure I'll let you know and send you one. Can't wait to see guys. It's been freazzing and today was one of the first days we've crept above 45 degrees. After Speding Thanksgiving in the city being back home is like being in vast nothingness covered by balck drapes.

Sorry for not writing in my blog for so long. I've been really buisy. My thanksgiving wsa fun we went up to Colorado for the week and stayed with my Aunt there. It was pretty simple but I'd rather it be like that than having fifty five friends and family at my house at a time. I can't wait unitll christmas. I get to see my little cousin Sarah!! And My Aunti jUlie and Uncle Mike. It will be great to see them we have never seen Sarah and we haven't senn my aunt and uncle in over a year. That's about it for today. Leave me Comments.

Halloween

Well Halloween was fun. I dressed up as Edgar Alan Poes description of death. This week end we went to Colorado. Everyone is fine there. I tried out for honors band and made the cut (that means that we get to work with a proffesional orchestrator in Santa Fe) We already planned on going to Colorado for thanksgiving so if anyone can't get ahold of us that's were we'll be. I got lot's of candy and our neighbors "The Candy Makers" gave me a big box of Apple Cinnamon Peanut Brittle (my favorite)

Planetarium

Today we went on a feildtrip to the planetarium an Santa Fe it was pretty fun but it was sort of boring because we saw the same presesntation at the planetarium in ABQ. It was a break from school though and when the nine of us that were allowed to go, got back t school thirty minutes before it let we got to go to the gym and watch the Volly Ball tournaments. That was pretty much my day. Oh three of us who were talking to instructor got A tour of the back of the control room where they have the telescopers and PC's set up to control the presentation. It's amazing how if you focus the telescope at any part of the sky during the day the computer can filter out most of the light and show you were the satrs are right as your looking up. The bus we went on waas super cool there was a TV and a DVD palyr for every row of seats ,a bathroom, phones and overhead stereos with headphones so we could all listen to cd's. That was the same bus we took on the twetny some ski trips last year and I hope they take it again this year. All your ski gear fits in the overhead compartments.

We've been over run with rain here. Our school is flooded because 90%
of the schoolgrounds are concrete.If you read this aunite julie say hi to evryone from me including Sancho and Lola. The mountains behind the house are completlety coverd in snow. And Go figure my grandfather decided to cut the oats in the feild right before the rain started. But now Im sitting here looking at the sunset out of the office window. And down the meadow I can see that the river has filled up quite a bit. Unfortunately with the rain comes cold and with cold comes lots of blankets and th heater alwatys on full blast. Aunite Jul I bet that you haven't had to fire up the fireplace at you house yet. Well today we came home and there was smoke coming up from over the hill as we turned past the gravel pit and when we stopped at grandma's sure enough she had the wood stove going. Well that's about it. Friday I havea trip to the planetarium but I'm not looking forward to it all that much espescialy because we saw both of the presesentations during summer camp this summer. Well that's alot of news on a rainy day.

As of today I am the official head barritone of the MMS band. Mr. Boettcher, my drama instrutor has also decided on coaching us with a great pruduction as you probably have know called " Much ado about nothing. But my langauge class has been somewhat discreety odd due to the fact that a large bubble of rain swoll the wall and burst. As a reasult of this the class is in the library which is terrible because you can't really study with the constant coming and going of people checking out books. And just something that came as a last minute I was selected along with three other students from the district to design and build a robot for the NM mesa class.
